Melbourne Rebels is a professional football league. They made their debut at SANZAR's Super Rugby Championship in 2011. They are Australia's first privately-owned professional rugby union team and until 2017, the team's stock is returned to the Rugby Union. The rebel's color is based on the state of Victorian navy blue's traditional colors. The logo and suite all feature a dark blue color, while the iconic five-star vertically extending between them is white and traditional Victorian.
